Lindsay-Wallpolla Canoe Expedition
3 Days Exploring Victoria's Remote Lindsay-Wallpolla River Wilderness by Canoe
$1,650 per person | Departing Mildura, VIC | Small-Group Guided Adventure
28–30 November 2026 / 13-15 March & 6-8 November 2027
Escape the noise of everyday life and discover one of the most remote and untouched river environments in north-west Victoria. The Lindsay and Wallpolla floodplain region is one of Australia's most significant river environments. Here, the Murray River spreads into a maze of interconnected waterways, wetlands, red gum forests, and floodplain habitats that support an extraordinary diversity of wildlife.
This fully supported, small-group canoe expedition, will take you through these remote waterways, combining wildlife encounters, twilight paddling, bush food discovery, and off-grid camping in one of Australia's most secluded river landscapes.
With all logistics, planning, and support taken care of, you can simply immerse yourself in the landscape and experience this regon the way it was meant to be explored—slowly, quietly, and by water.
Depending on seasonal conditions, the journey may include:
The Full Wallpolla Island Loop Trail - a rewarding canoe circuit through a diverse network of waterways, wetlands, and river channels.
Lindsay & Mullaroo River Exploration - explore quiet stretches of river and floodplain country rich in wildlife and natural beauty.
This is river travel at its most authentic.
Over the course of the expedition, guests may paddle up to 55 kilometres, travelling through landscapes that remain largely unchanged by time.
No rushing. No crowds. Just the rhythm of the river.
With remote campsites, wildlife-rich waterways, twilight paddles, bush food discovery, and the freedom that comes with travelling at river pace, this is an unforgettable adventure through one of Victoria's hidden natural treasures.
Places are strictly limited to maintain a safe, enjoyable, and immersive small-group experience.
Join us this November and discover the remote waterways, floodplains, and river wilderness of the Lindsay–Wallpolla region—one paddle stroke at a time.
